I haven’t seen that much, but it’s enough at this point to start documenting these trips. Have a look at some of my favorite live soccer experiences below – you will notice quite a few s*** eating grins.
July, 2014: My First Match in Frisco
It was a beautiful night, Seitzy scarfed the Lamar Hunt Statue and FC Dallas cruised to a 2-0 win over New England.
August, 2014: A Visit with the Rapids
Thanks to a University of Texas professor, I got a meeting with the Rapids. I met the staff, had a 15 minute sit down with club president Tim Hinchey and checked out the pitch at DSG Park. I also got to see a thrilling match later that night, one that happened to be Landon Donovan’s last ever at DSG Park. Caught a pretty sweet free kick on video, too.

February, 2015: The ATX Pro Challenge
An MLS preseason event in my hometown of Austin, Texas. This event made my heart sing, and that was before I got autographs from Moises Hernandez and Blas Perez!
April 15th, 2015: USA v. MEX in San Antonio
My first time seeing the USMNT live was a memorable night. Who cares if it was a friendly? Seeing the US and Mexican crowds in full force was incredible! This first pic shows me arriving at the match, with my buddies standing just above that “SECTION 118” sign. Below that is a pre-match wave.

Summer, 2015: USOC Road Trip
I wrote a bit about this series of matches here. The trip consisted of three games, and I have some pics below to recap each one.
Game 1: House Park in Austin, Texas
Game 2: Toyota Field in San Antonio, Texas
Game 3: BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas
